Missing traveling around Mindanao. 😊
Went on an 8-hour hike yesterday, and I had this crazy realization....while I was struggling, while I was out of breath and while I can't even feel my legs anymore because I was so tired.....
I FELT SO ALIVE.

I wanted to give up but I found myself pushing so hard until we reached the end of our hike. I NEVER FELT SO ALIVE for the longest time.

I think that's what I've been craving while being too comfortable in this slow-paced life.

I craved for discomfort that will push me hard to do things I thought I couldn't do. To experience things out of my comfort zone.

Today, I cried a lot because I can't walk, my entire body aches, and I have blisters all over my feet. However, this exhaustion will never stop me.....

....to always seek discomfort in order to feel alive again and again.👣
Have you seen my latest vlogs? 😅

I think doing these vlogs is my way of expressing my creativity. I find it a bit difficult to get inspired by this new way of life. With no travels and exciting things to do, I am running in circles with my daily routines and burying my time by doing more work than I couldn’t even handle.

Having something to do for fun while living this slow and steady life is something I am happy to make. I feel grateful and I know that this is exactly what I need.

Let’s make the most out of this slow-paced life. I hope you are enjoying and finding things you like to do as well.
OCTOBER 6, 2014 Journal Entry

There will come a point in our lives that we want to be no one else but us. It’s the moment when we stop to prove the world our worth because we already know we are special. It’s the moment when we don’t give a crap to all the negative things they throw at us because we already realize that no matter what we do people will judge us. It’s the moment when we don’t have time to wait to be appreciated in able to feel we are loved. It’s that moment we are ready to embark on an adventure alone in discovering our true selves — with no doubts and no hesitations.

It is that exact kind of moment I’m trying to make. I know it will not be easy, but this is the path that I should take so that someday I can say to the world ” Look at me, this is the real me.”
I learned that in order to succeed and grow we need to show our work. No matter how bad we thought it is, how little it is, we still need to show it to the world.

Just putting yourself out there will help you get to where you want to be.

So I decided to create more this year.

Create more content, create more videos, write more blog posts, take more photos and show my work to the world.

Let's create and show our work this year! 💓
JOURNAL ENTRY FROM MY 20-YEAR OLD SELF

AUGUST 28, 2014

“Do it now. Sometimes LATER becomes NEVER.”

Just 7 words that make you think that we have to act and move, and go with the flow where life takes us. I like to keep things easy, although most of the time I always complicate things unintentionally. Which I think made my life a little crazy and fun. What I’m saying is just feel what you feel, say what you gonna say, and do what you want to do. That’s it! Love the life you have, and if you don’t like it….then change it.
