Travel Resources | The Fickle Feet

Travel is a very exciting and confusing activity at the same time. If you are like me who is not good and always baffled when in comes to travel planning. This list is perfect for you. These are the services and products that I personally use or recommend. It made all of my adventure easy and I hope these will be a great help also in your upcoming trip.

Flights and Transportations

Skyscanner

Whenever I want to find cheap flights but I’m not sure where to go, I use Skyscanner. It is because it has flexible searches with an “Everywhere” function that I can combined with my desire travel date.

Expedia

Expedia is a great resource to book everything. From flights, hotels, activities and so much more. It provides two things I want, convenience and cheap prices.

Uber

One of the best ways to find a cheap ride. In the Philippines, only uberX for 4 passengers seats is available. Other countries in Southeast Asia have Ubermoto, a convenient motorcycle ride! I  have a coupon for Php40 off your first ride! The Uber coupon code is ‘ronethpue‘.

 Grab

Grab is common in Southeast Asia. It has also grabbike in selected countries. Grab taxi and Grab car for 4 & 6 seater are available in the Philippines. My referral code: roneth26655

Accommodation

Booking

I love Booking.com for their simple searching system. They have a wide variety of properties from luxury hotels to rental apartments and hostels. Also, I can see the ‘free cancellation’ and ‘No prepayment needed’ information immediately in the details of the accommodation.

Airbnb

When I’m traveling with a group, I always use Airbnb. I can find  cheap apartment, or even a whole house to rent. Plus, they have a map where you can see immediately the place location. Click here to get Airbnb Php1100 Credits!

Hostelworld

When I go on a budget trip, I opt to stay in hostels and Hostelworld is my go to site. It has an amazing sorting option that shows tons of hostels options with best rates all around the world.

Couchsurfing

I love using couchsurfing to find free accommodation, host a traveler, meet other members, or join an event. This is such an amazing social networking website.

Blogging Resources

Siteground

I spent a lot of time to search what is the best Web Hosting Site for me. Then I found SiteGround! Easy to use, and I love their customer service. You can make your own website too with only $3.95/month.

Travel Planning and Activities

Pebblar

My boyfriend found this itinerary planner. Pebblar is very easy to use. You can simply search the places, specify the date, you can add notes too. The best part is you can download it into a pdf file and can be shared with others via email.

Tripadvisor

The most common website to check for information and recommendation with other people. I really believe in this platform because I also use Tripadvisor to give useful tips and share my experience that might be helpful to others planning their trip.

Klook

Easy way to purchase tickets for a specific activities, cellular Sim cards, transportation rides and tour packages. Klook made it very attainable in just a few clicks.
